What You Need & How to Start
Online Tutoring seems a little far out there for some people.  It's really very simple, and with a little
practice with the software, you will pick up how to use it very easily.  Here is a list of items that you need
(some are optional) to have a successful tutoring session.

  • Computer (Mac or PC) and a RELIABLE Internet connection. (Required)
  • Scanner (optional) *The scanner will allow the student to email me a copy of their assignment
    and make their tutoring time more efficient.  It is not necessary, but very helpful.)
  • Microphone (optional)  *I highly recommend a microphone for students who learn best with
    listening.  For students who don't have a microphone, you can type what you want to say in the
    computer and I will be able to read it.  
  • Web cam (optional)  
  • Pen Mouse (optional)  * A regular mouse will work too.

To get started, follow these steps:
  1. Visit the Services Page and decide what is the best fit for you.
  2. Visit the Schedules link and view my schedule.  After viewing,
    decide a few times that might work and submit them in the
    submission form.
  3. I will call or email you within 24 hours to schedule times.
  4. Purchase your session.
  5. I will email you a confirmation and the link to our tutorial session.
